LEARN for Windows the ultimate Programm for learning A Visual-Basic (T) Programm - most sophisticated Algorythms for maximum memorization - Voice and Sound play - Card Mode: so you can learn complex matters - Speech play via DDE - Recognises writing mistakes - Multiple Choice Option Unfortunately there is not much documentation yet, but I hope that you will have no problems as the basic features are very easy to handle. I have added some picture buttons as well. Many Controls are multi-Language, but not all yet. Sometimes you might be asked to enter the correct expression in a special language, if you do this the expression will be saved in the ini-File. If you want you can edit the ini-File, but make shure that you don't change the wrong things and that you save the file in ASCII-Mode. Planned features: - Import Routine for all kind of ASCII Files (like Atari Version) - Import Routine to change the ASCII-Values of the Words (like for the German 'Umlaute') - Hangman-Game - Murphy will help you (little animation) - Voice Recongnition Please help me and send E-Mail with bugs and suggestions: e-mail: - You can register now for just $15, later it will be more (for more features you will need a key)! DOWNLOAD (Old Version without Sound) (With Sound but not tested very mucht) Voice Files Sound (has still more features) Installation Extract the zip File to an empty Directory (put Option use pathnames to YES). Copy the VBX Files to your Windows System Directory (don't overwrite newer Versions) Normally you have to enter all the necessary pathnames when you run the programm the first time, but if I forget to erase them in the ini-File you have to edit the path-Section in the ini-File. You can choose the language of the display in the Window-menu. And the Language of the Vocabulary in the language-menu (You should save this in the Disk-Menu with save-Defaults). If you choose another language than German or English you have to enter the right expressions yourself ( you could also edit the Deutsch, English, French or Spanish Sections in the LEARN.INI File). If you Edit the ini File you should always use the Notepad, if you use another programm make shure to save the file without formatting (ASCII/Text).
